How do I add a downloadable file?

When logged into your IASP 5.0 website as an administrator, use the website navigation tools to go to the page of the website you wish to add the downloadable file to appear in.

Mouse over the IASP 5.0 icon and click edit this record.

Scroll down the content editor until you see the attach file field.

If the content editor does not contain an attach file field please raise a support ticket via the Your Support Tickets area within the IASP Control Panel.

Click the browse button to open a dialogue box (as illustrated) then navigate to and select the required file as saved on your local computer.

Double click the relevant file and you'll notice the file path appears in the attach file field in the content editor. Then save the page and check that the file has attached successfully.

TIP: Once you attach a file to a page, when re-editing the page a link to the attached file appears. You can follow the link to the file when editing the page to check the contents of the attachment.

TIP: The IASP content editor will allow you to attach a variety of file formats including Word Documents and Power Point files, however, as these files require visitors to have the relevant application installed on their local computer to view such attachments IASP strongly recommends converting all files to PDF format before uploading.
IASP offers low cost conversion of files into PDF format, please raise a support ticket via the Your Support Tickets area within the IASP Control Panel.
